Sree Alappan Devar Temple is a Famous Krishna Temple situated in Kollam District.
The temple is one of the most ancient ones found in Kerala encircled by picturesque natural
demography. Thousands of devotees visit the temple everyday for prayers and offering to the deities.
Poojas are performed daily from 5 AM - 10.00 AM and then from 5 PM - 7:30 PM.

Most of the temples in Kerala will have Ganapathy's shrine as a quintessential part of
upadevadas ( subordinates of the main installation). Here in Sree Alappan Devar temple ,
Ganapathy finds a place within the Nalambalam ( the main block) itself,at the south
western corner.
